El Come Rico's Recommendations for El Valle - 2026 Edition

There are a lot of guides about Valle de Guadalupe.

Some will tell you where the newest Michelin-star restaurant is. Others will tell you where the influencers are taking photos this weekend.

This isn't that guide.

Over the years, I've made countless trips down to Valle. Some trips were focused on wine. Some were focused on food. Some were just an excuse to get away from San Diego for a weekend and slow things down.

What I've learned is that the best Valle weekends aren't about trying to visit twenty wineries in two days. They're about finding a few places you love, taking your time, and enjoying everything that makes Baja special.

These are the places I keep coming back to.

That's why I keep coming back.
